2007!

OK, I know that it's Febuary, and that I haven't been on the site for a lng time now, but it IS the year 2007, so I thought I'd give a shout to my Peeps/Homies/Friends/Family and all of the other lovely people in Houston and the rest of the U.S. of A! You know, it's been a long time since I've seen any of you peoples( and I'm talking to the people who I didn't see when I went there for the Christmas Holidays; Austin, Caroline, Chandler, and all of my cousins and everyone else). I do wish I could come and visit more often, but an airplane tickets don't come cheep.....at all. Also, warum du personen bist nicht kommen zu mich? Warum ich must gehe zu dein hausen? Ja, das ist nicht richtig! OK that was German/ Deutsch. But before I give you any answer, look at the sentences, sound them out, and then try to figure out what they say. Write what you think in the "comments" thingy before you read any further. Or you can be a totally lazy person and just read what I said under this paragraph.

OK, I hope no one cheated. I said: Also, why are you people not coming to me? Why do I have to go to your houses? Yes. that is not right! Well now I've updated, given a "shout-out", and taught you a little bit of German. Ich hoffnung du bist glucklich! I hope you're happy!

I Finally Updated!

Hi every body! Sorry it's been so long since an update. I've been in school, and the house I'm in at school dosen't have internet. So I'm not going to be updating every week. So I'll try to write long posts so as not to make my blog boring. O.K. I'm done with this speech. Time to start telling about stuff!

So school is first thing. First of all there only four people in my class, and one of them is not even in my grade. So I was kind of shocked buy that. In my last class I had at least twenty-five people so that was an adjustment. But my teachers are really nice. I have five teachers: one for math-Mr. Burns-, one for art-Mr. Dew-, one for german-Mr. Mack-, one for P.E.- Mr.??? the name is forgotten-, and Ms. Helpard- who teaches everything else.
I got my report card a few days ago and everything was good.

For me there was an Autum holiday for about ten or eleven days. We were givin a choice: either go home, or go on a tour of Switzerland. Well, which one would you choose? It's just that our camera is on a ship somewhere so I can't show you guys the mountains and the ice cave and the glaciers and my English and German friends.

1.School. 2.Germany.

Hi Everybody.
1.Tomorrow I'm starting school so I won't be posting during the week. Just on Saturday or Sunday. So know my blog is just a weekly posting blog, instead of a completly random date.
I'm so happy I'm starting school. I swear that my brain is the size of a peanut, I've been out school so long! I'm really looking forward to learning german and doing math and all the stuff we do in school. But what I really want is friends. I mean, I have friends in the U.S., but I want friends that I can actually interact with. No offence guys, but I can't exactly play tennis with you or hug you ect.
And now, on to #2.

2.On Saturday we went to Germany. It was pretty cool. There wasn't any graffiti there,( in Switzerland you can't go anywhere without seeing graffiti!) and the ice cream was AWESOME! I had two cones! (I had a major sugar rush after that!) We took a boat ride to get there. While we were on the boat we could see all the mountains and we even saw snow on one! The food was really good. More on that next week. And I'll give you some pics next time too.

Not right now! I'm Sewing!

For years I've been watching my grandma sew,and my great-grandma knit, but I never thought I'd learn how. Well the time finnaly came in the first three weeks of being in Switzerland. In a week I finished a knitted hat and sewn skirt. I am so proud of myself (if I do say so myself). The hat actually took longer than the skirt, but the skirt was much harder in my opinion. With knitting, I was just doing the same stitch over and over again. I could have never made it through the skirt if I hadn't had Kate and the sewing machine to help me. I think I chose the hardest skirt I could choose. But I think the fabric is really pretty: light blue with flowers on it. And heres the best part: my new hat matches my skirt! ( In that picture of me with the skirt on, my eyes shut right as the picture was taken!)

Exciting News!

Today we went to see two apartments. The first one was the oddest thing that I've ever seen. It had four floors! It had the washer and dryer and a tiny little bathroom with no sink on the first floor, then on the second floor a bathroom(Shower, tub, and sink included) and a study or bedroom, then the kitchen(a kitchen on the third floor!?!) and a bedroom, then more stairs into what looked like the attic but it was supposedly another bedroom. And to top it off, we had to crouch down in every room be cause the celings were so low! So that was a deffenant no-no.

But then we went to another apartment that was right across from the best resturaunt in St. Gallen. It was so neat. It was going under renevations but they said they would be done in two days and then they would have an open house so we could look at it after it was all done. But we are seriously considering buying it! I wasn't as big as some we've seen and it didn't have a lift(but it was only one flight up, so that doesn't matter), but it had a balcony, the celings were high the kitchen was really nice, and the rooms were a good size too! So wish us luck that we get this one. I mean, I don't want to look for aparments anymore. We've been to, like, fifteen already. Would you like to look at more? I sure don't.

Festival

Saturday through Saturday night, we went to a festival and it was so much fun! There was live music(in English!) and food and giant cotten candy sticks. There were THOUSANDS of people there (most of them drunk) and it was wild,crazy, and in Switzerland! What could be better than that?! I got these awesome cool shades that blink and flash green lights. Everyone kept on staring at me, but I didn't care.
We saw this awesome band that were singing songs like: "Very Superstisious", and "W-O-R-D Up". They were really good, too. Everywear we went people were smoking. It was terrible! Sometimes I felt like I was going to pass out from the smell. Here in Switzerland people are aloud to start smoking at the age of 14! Is'nt that terrible!? What a time to start killing yourself!

Walkin' Around Hills

Today Kate and I took a long walk up a huge hill called Freudenbergwald. We saw three ponds
(Drei Weieren) and then we walked through the woods for a little bit and got ice cream that tasted really good. They know how to make chocolate fudge here, that’s for sure!

A few days ago, we visited my school called the Institute auf dem Rosenberg. It looks very nice with it’s shining white pianos and it’s gleaming dining hall. The school gave the finest chocolate you can find in Switzerland and a stuffed cow. I named the cow Rose because her collar said "Institute auf dem Rosenberg". And it has an actual gym instead of my old school’s gym which wasn’t even a gym! It was the cafeteria. It’s much nicer than my old school but of course, we gave them a boat-load of money so they better make it nice!
